Here, in 1950, a former lumberjack, Fred
Smith, began to create a collection of
cement statuary depicting his view of
local, national, and worldwide culture.

We are located right on the trails. Try
out the Georgetown Trail that leads to
Kennan, or hop the trail up to the
Tuscobia Trail. There are over 2,000
miles of trails to explore. Mountain bike
enthusiasts will find hundreds of miles of
mapped and marked trails maintained by
Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike
Association.
